FoxNext games wanted a blocky, modern font family for their Marvel Strike Force game, with a touch of “comic-bookyness” to it.
We went back and forth whether to have angles or not on the hooks of letters like C and S, and decided on angled up, which gives it a distinct and recognizable flair.
The font was released commercially through Comicraft as ULTIMATUM, and has since appeared in numerous movies and TV shows.
